While not a Passive House, this Pretty Good House is a classic. Double stud walls filled with cellulose and clad with cement board siding provide an economical, yet highly insulating enclosure. It’s the perfect home for our triple glazed windows.
While a standard white, the triple glazing is customized with Simulated Divided Lites (SDL’s) to provide the lines of a Double Hung Window. The insulated fiberglass windows are Glazed by Orientation. South facing windows have a NetGain glazing, while the other elevations have a much lower SHGC, slightly better insulating NetShade glazing.
